Career

As you progress in your career, you unlock two additional types of races: manufacturers' discs and invitations.

The former are manufacturer-specific races, and the latter are Cars 2 projects equivalent to Showcase events in the ForzaMotorsport series.

They demonstrate specific cars and track conditions. At any moment, you can jump between producers, invitations and regular careers.

The game lacks a true textbook, but nevertheless the career is impressive:

• it is divided into six tiers, each with several selectable motorsport series, for a total of 29 series;
• It has nine general disciplines (maps, open wheels, GT, touring, rally, prototypes, etc.);
• there are many different races to choose from — gamers are not locked into a linear structure, as in most racing games;
• An amazing 63 seats and 146 total track layouts will keep racing fresh for a long time;
• The daily cycle, seasonal and dynamic effects add realism and challenge racing.
