Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 (2007) PC

The tactical action movie is the sixth part and the sequel to Advanced Warfighter. The game differs significantly from the first parts in terms of difficulty and realism. A simplified but improved version of the complex military simulator has come to replace it.

Counter-insurgency

Two days after the rescue of the presidents of Mexico and the United States (in GRAW), the rebels decided on a new crime – blowing up a dam, which would cause massive damage to nearby states and become a distraction for dirty activities. Mitchell and his team are sent on a mission to pacify ferocious Latinos.

A massacre is unfolding in small settlements, in mountainous areas, in open areas and at a large dam. Fighters behave much more realistically and smarter than before. They have learned to hide from bullets for cover, to look out from behind corners only when the enemy is not firing, but they can try:

• pass through walls and other obstacles;
• sell a helicopter from an assault rifle;
• find a non-existent alternative path to the gathering place.

Tactics – without strategy

From a tactical shooter, the game turned into an American action movie about the almighty and valiant military from the USA. They run faster than the enemy, and after a couple of hits they quickly recover, and a half-dead comrade will be forced to continue the fight in a matter of seconds. Even the average level of difficulty will allow a poorly trained player to spit on tactics.

Beginners and fans of the hard way will have to learn how to use a couple of tactical screens, but after the command will sort out the situation before the mission. This will make it possible to choose the right team. Who is too lazy to select staff, assign this task to a computer, it will cope.

The tactical screen simplifies the command of the squad. It allows:

• to show the fighters the way and the way they move;
• expose and ambush;
• launch the quadcopter to get information about the current situation.

Its capabilities are severely limited, therefore, without direct participation in the shootings, it will not be possible
