This shooter literally refreshed the hot summer of 2007. And it's not just that the events take place on a distant cold and snowy planet. The game turned out to be spectacular, dynamic and does not let you get bored for a minute.

Where it's always freezing

When it became absolutely impossible to live on Earth, people went into space. NEVEC Corporation has planned the colonization of the newly discovered planet. Only here's the trouble: it is inhabited by aggressive insect-like creatures and completely covered with snow. The acridae have adapted to very low temperatures due to a special substance that is a source of energy. So, aliens need to be killed for the sake of this valuable substance. This is exactly what the protagonist of the game, Wayne Holden, was doing with his father and the soldiers when something terrible happened. The last thing the hero saw was the death of a parent, and he himself lay in the snow for 30 years.

Wayne was picked up by the "snow pirates", but can you trust them? Who is to blame for the death of the elder Holden and what grandiose project does NEVEC intend to accomplish?

The gamer must monitor two parameters: life points and the amount of thermal energy. Health is restored in secluded places where you should hide while getting damaged in shootings. Thermal energy can be recharged from special installations, killed people and aliens. Therefore, in order not to stiffen, you will have to commit many murders.

Mechanized costumes are called to facilitate wandering on the icy planet, turning the characters into the likeness of robots. There are several types of them:

• an armored suit that transforms into a snowmobile;
• allowing you to jump high;
• a suit equipped with a powerful saw;
