The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena GOLD (2009) PC

A stealth shooter about the adventures of a runaway space prisoner. The protagonist's voice and appearance are borrowed from Vin Diesel, the actor who played Riddick in the films. The character of the most dangerous criminal in the universe has remained the same: he beats women, but helps little girls.

Out of the fire and into the flame

The events of the shooter are closely related to the plot of the previous game – The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. Jones, who brought Riddick to prison, helps him escape because he is dissatisfied with the payment for the capture of a famous criminal. But the hero did not manage to enjoy freedom – Jones' ship boards a huge mercenary ship "Dark Athena". His captain turns out to be a woman named Gail Revas, who is not averse to handing over Riddick to the authorities for a big reward. The protagonist manages to arrange a riot on the ship and escape from captivity. But he will return to the "Dark Athena", only this time as a hunter, not a victim.

The impassive thug

This is how Riddick will be throughout the game. He, without hurrying, watches the opponents from an ambush, and then takes their lives with lightning speed. The conduct of guerrilla warfare is facilitated by his ability to hide in the dark and see well in unlit places.

In a foreign territory, the hero has practically no friendly characters. He is being hunted by everyone on the ship: the captain, mercenaries, cyborg drones. The most inconveniences are caused by the latter. They take the quantity, having an infinite supply of cartridges. Riddick also knows how to handle firearms, but he wields long curved knives with ulaks more effectively than he shoots from a machine gun. The protagonist does not lack weapons and can easily arrange a noisy shootout.
