Desperados: Trilogy (2001-2007) PC

Desperados: Trilogy is a series of games about the development of the American Wild West in the style of classic westerns. By genre, these are tactical strategies, where several characters are under the control of a gamer at once. The permanent protagonist of the series is a stern bounty hunter named John Cooper.

Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive (2001)

1881, the village of El Paso joins the railway service thanks to the newly established transport company. But a certain El Diablo wants to snatch a share of the profits of honest railway workers, therefore, together with other bandits, he begins to rob trains. The head of the company hires the best bounty hunter John Cooper to stop the robber lawlessness.

The hero is an expert in his field. He shoots accurately with a revolver, perfectly wields a knife to cut the ropes or throat of the enemy, and uses a musical clock to lure enemies to a secluded place. But fighting a whole gang of thugs alone is a dubious idea. Therefore, Cooper will assemble an interesting team.

• Sam is a runaway slave, a lover of explosives. Undermines, shoots weapons, and also releases a snake that bites people and scares horses.
• Doc McCoy is an old scientist facing the death penalty for quackery. A specialist in toxic gases, and also a professional lock picker.
• Kate O'Hara is a sweet girl who distracts opponents with an elegant leg in a stocking, and also an unsurpassed sharpie.
• Sanchez is a mighty Mexican who deals with enemies with a sawed–off shotgun and his extraordinary strength.
• Mia Yun is an eighteen–year-old Chinese woman with poisoned darts, blinding firecrackers and a pet monkey.

Desperados 2: Cooper’s Revenge (2006)

The events of the sequel still take place in the Wild West. This time, John Cooper is driven not by the desire to get rich by catching criminals, but by revenge for the murdered brother Ross. The hero's friends, acquaintances from the first part, also participate in the pursuit of the killer. Now the Eagle Eye Indian has joined Cooper's team.

The main game change is the appearance of three–dimensional graphics.

Helldorado: Conspiracy (2007)

The third part of the series tells that John Cooper managed to deal with his brother's killer, but his accomplices captured Doc McCoy. The same command is taken to release the prisoner.
