7 Demonologists of Peter the Great (2016) PC

7 demonologists of Peter the Great - an adventure novel belongs to the horror genre marked 18+ and is the fourth creation of M. Kadantsev and his game-building studio Mitredel Studio. It is part of the Demonologist series of games and is the first edition with original musical accompaniment.

History

The plot is directly related to the previous part of 6 nights in Chernavsky (the narrative takes place 7 decades before the events and it is recommended to familiarize yourself with it before the game). The story unfolds at the end of the XVIII century, when the peasants did not have so many worries: to prepare for winter in a season and to overwinter by spring.

Critics immediately noted the lack of messages to previous or future parts, which is why the integrity of the narrative is lost in the mosaic cycle of events.

The main character named Anton, along with his master and his daughter, go to the Chernavsky forest located near the village. Here the young man decides to find out what freedom is, why evil surrounds him, what is good and to live according to justice, who he is and what he is doing here. The hero is given the opportunity to choose his path and reveal his character through good deeds or make a choice in favor of the dark ones.

Graphics

Visually, the game looks impressive. The detailed backgrounds are designed in the style of the story: native Russian forests. Beautiful models of the main characters and their faces are taken from the forum participants sent about the universe of the "Demonologist". It is especially worth noting the detail of the faces of young girls.

Features

1. The authors experimented with the role component and added abilities to the main character, which is regarded very ambiguously by the gaming audience. Most of the plot twists are very predictable for those who read Lukyanenko and Glukhovsky (their works inspired the guys from Mitredel).
2. 11 different endings, 7 of which are complete and 4 are abbreviated, will not let you get bored and will make you go through the game more than once. You should especially like the lines with the beauty Angelina or Sonya, or…
3. Mini-games embedded in some dialogues do not allow you to make a less unambiguous choice.
