IL-2 Stormtrooper: 1946 is a computer video game in the genre of flight simulator, which makes it possible to get into a real combat aircraft and participate in a fictional war that allegedly began after the overthrow of Nazism.

A studio called 1C: Maddox Games and RRG Studios worked together to create the game.

Plot

Unlike the previous parts of the series, where you participate, for example, in World War II, here we have the opportunity to take the helm of an airplane and participate in a hypothetical conflict that occurred due to disagreements between the leading states of the world after defeating a common enemy.

The key feature is that the developers give us the opportunity to control jet–powered aircraft for the first time - they are much faster and more maneuverable, and therefore give incredible opportunities in combat. 

Gameplay

IL-2 Attack aircraft: 1946 is far from the newest project, because it was released in 2006. However, the graphics for video games of this time are more than decent here. Even now, it won't cause much inconvenience. The most important thing is that the planes are drawn perfectly and fully correspond to the real–life models.

The gameplay of the game is characterized by the following features:

• fully open maps where colorful fights take place between dozens of jet ships;
• a large selection of air cars – and they are all really realized projects;
• realistic aircraft control system;
• jet engines appeared, which significantly increased the speed in combat and positively affected their dynamism.
