Dex is a computer video game in the RPG genre, which was created by a small and little–known developer studio called Dreadlocks Ltd.

Plot

Dex's actions unfold in the near future. Since the game is completely made in the style of cyberpunk, everything around here is similar to a dystopia, overflowing with technology and where there is practically nothing organic left of a person.

Like most cyberpunk video games, this one reveals the problem of the need for the existence of cyber implants that significantly improve all human senses and make him stronger and faster. These implants not only give, but also take away – in this case, everything human. In addition, some may simply take advantage of the situation and subjugate your body in order to control it as they want.

Gameplay

The gameplay of Dex is distinguished by the following features characteristic of many RPGs:

• the action takes place in an almost completely open world;
• a unique character leveling system that focuses on installing new implants and improving them;
• a large and open world, which is represented by a futuristic city called Harbor Prime;
• the mechanics of breaking various locks or implants are interesting;
• the presence of several solutions to a particular problem.

Graphics

It's nice that the developers have manually drawn each location and characters, which creates a unique atmosphere. Although the graphics are not particularly detailed and special effects, but each object was worked out separately.
