On April 19, 1943, the directorate was created, whose tasks included the fight against intelligence and saboteurs of foreign special services. The organization was called "Death to Spies" or SMERSH for short. The fourth department had the heaviest front-line operations, the list of tasks included kidnappings, espionage, sabotage, and the elimination of particularly important enemy persons.

Death to Spies was created on the basis of the Hitman game, the main way to solve combat tasks are disguises, quiet killing of the enemy. Unfortunately, domestic developers are inferior to Western ones, so the Russian spy game looks much worse than its American counterparts.

Among the shortcomings can be identified:

• poor scalability, which makes some items look bigger than in reality;
• ugly graphics;
• periodic bugs;
• angular models;
• the stupidity of artificial intelligence;
• unnatural movements of the characters.

In theory, if there is no high-quality graphics, then you need to take the plot and interesting characters. But in the game Death of Spies, there is almost no plot, and nothing is told about the main character – Semyon Strogoff. He is an ordinary harsh guy, hates fascists and loves his homeland. Although this can be understood, because he is a scout, and there is a war outside the window, so snot is superfluous here.

As in the game about the bald killer, here you need to act carefully, often change clothes, and clean up opponents quietly. In the course of the plot, the player will have to visit Ukraine, Prague, Poland and even the USA. What the developers should be praised for is the atmosphere, all the elements of WWII look natural. The tasks for the war are usual: to steal documents, to eliminate the general, to bring the language.

It turns out that the game is not worth attention? In fact, you can play it, not because of love for it, but because of hatred for American war games, where Russians are portrayed as eternally drunk scumbags.
