"7.62: High Calibre" is a tactical strategy with 3D graphics, having elements of a role-playing component, dedicated to military showdowns in the banana republics.

Plot

"7.62" can be considered a logical continuation or offshoot of the game "E5 Brigade". This conclusion suggests itself due to the fact that the main character is a mercenary from "E5", who was "thrown" by the government of one small state after the legionnaires' detachments helped restore order in the country.

Miraculously surviving, this hero decided to try his luck in another place, Algeira, by hiring other people, more serious uncles. He was bribed by the fact that in addition to a monetary reward, he would get a passing chance to get even with the traitor.

Features

According to the old tradition of the entire line of games, before starting the game it is necessary:

1. Choose one of eight characters (there are also women), each of whom is a major specialist in a particular field of military art.
2. Distribute fifty starting points between different skills.
3. Assign a name to the character.

After these manipulations, you can play in locations with improved graphics (compared to "E5"):

1. The trees now look like themselves.
2. The houses have become much nicer to look at.
3. The characters remained at the same ax level.
4. Control panels have become much more convenient.

But there are also disadvantages that can bring both benefits and create difficulties. So the character can sometimes pass through walls, but, in retaliation, and get stuck between stones.

The initial missions in the game may seem strange and not entirely clear, but this is just an adaptation or training. Then everything will be fine:

1. Enlarged map.
2. Ambushes, trading, plot meetings.
3. Quest tasks with multiple execution options (including peaceful ones) or consisting of whole chains.

But the plot tasks are not strictly linear, they allow you to stand on either side of the conflict or completely pull the blanket over yourself,
