"Stories of Monkey Island" is the next (or more precisely, the fifth) quest of the Monkey Island series from the developer Telltale Games. Here you also have to play for the brave pirate Guybrush, who must save his soulmate Elaine. In addition, there is another important mission – saving the West Indies from the smallpox that has engulfed it, which was caused by the use of witchcraft.

The storyline

As in the previous parts, the game has a lot of plot twists. 5 exciting episodes are waiting for you:

1. "The trial and death sentence of Guybrush Threepwood."
2. "The Siege of the Fishermen's Reef".
3. "Swimming on a roaring narwhal."
4. "The Lair of Leviathan".
5. "The appearance of the pirate God."

All episodes are a consistent story, not independent events, as in the previous parts of the game. The events unfold several years after the escape from Monkey Island. During this time, Guybrush wandered the oceans and seas in search of artifacts with which you can create a voodoo sword to destroy the zombie pirate Le-Chuck.

After finding the last artifact, the main character learns that a restless pirate has kidnapped his wife. In this regard, he goes to the Gelato Reef, where the villain intends to perform a magical ritual – the sacrifice of 13 monkeys in order to impose a curse on the West Indies. Guybrush manages to prevent Le-Chuck, but since one of the artifacts was accidentally lost, the sword created without him did not work as planned…
