"Dark Void" is a fantastic action shooter with a third-person view, released by Capcom studio in the spring of 2010.

Plot

The Bermuda Triangle is the gateway to another and not quite a good world, where everything is run by a race of beings alien to humanity, so called observers. Once upon a time, they ruled the Earth under the guise of the status of gods. But the time came, and people overthrew them from the throne of the celestials. The observers took refuge in another dimension, but they did not lose their interests in the Earth, planning a revenge. But even in the Void (another dimension), humanity began to get them. Especially after Will got in there. Now there is a decisive battle left, capable of ridding humanity of alien invaders forever.

Features

At first glance, "Dark Void" is the most ordinary action movie, no different from a whole car of similar toys:

1. The view is from behind the shoulder.
2. The constant presence of the sight in the center of the screen.
3. The dynamics are of the same type: running-shooting-hiding, etc.
4. The enemies are not stupid and not particularly active, they often attack from behind shelters.

But a clear trump card looks out of the "sleeve" – the ability of the main character to fly in several ways:

1. With the help of a rocket pack, which will be presented to Will by Nikola Tesla (the inventor emigrated to the Void at one time). This element of the outfit allows not only to perform aerobatics, but also to hover over enemy shelters, move along steep cliffs, board enemy aircraft.
2. On a flying saucer captured from the enemy. It is almost impossible to knock out such an armored vehicle. But landing on it with a jetpack and throwing the pilot out is not too hard. Now it is possible to conduct equivalent combat operations in the air.

It is the flights (especially with the help of a satchel) that significantly brighten up
