The Escapists: The Walking Dead (2015) PC

"The Escapists: The Walking Dead" is a two-dimensional arcade game. And not only. This is a game adaptation of the comic book of the same name, which was also taken as the basis for the filming of a full-length film.

Plot

The main character of the game, Officer Rick Grimes, needs to complete some tasks to begin with:

1. To get out of the hospital, where he got after being wounded, and woke up already when the streets of the city were filled with distraught walking dead.
2. Visit the Green family farm.

In total, the plot of the game involves five zones in which Rick will destroy bloody zombies and communicate with the characters of the works of the same name (comics and film). But an officer should not only take care of his own skin. His task is to contribute to the salvation of as many people as possible.

Features

The game tries to fully match the plot of the comic:

1. Recreates all the most significant locations.
2. Allows you to design weapons from improvised means. More than two hundred items are available for the gamer, which are the source materials for creating seventy types of tools and means of destroying enemies. Weapons can also be found at locations.
3. Stick to a daily routine. This will deter the aggression of the walking dead and increase the moral fortitude of the survivors. The list of mandatory actions includes: routine chores, meals, roll call, visiting the gym.

And routine tasks are the fulfillment of requests and tasks of other characters. These actions are not mandatory at all, but they increase the authority of the main character. There are no saves in the game, but the developers do not allow you to really die either. In the case when Rick is eaten by zombies, he is transferred to a kind of checkpoint, a soft bed of the next morning. That is, the point of saving progress
