"NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM Revolution" is one of the many parts of a whole galaxy of fighting games about Naruto Uzumagi, a teenage ninja, inside of which a Fox demon is imprisoned. All issues are based on the popular manga of the same name (Japanese comics) and anime (Japanese animated series).

Chronology of Naruto games  

It is difficult for a gamer uninitiated in the history of Naruto games to track which series is earlier and which is later. If you look briefly, you can notice such a pattern in the chronological chain of the release of issues:

1. From 2003 to 2005, the developers created three parts, which were called "Ultimate Ninja" and had ordinal numbers two and three (naturally, no one assigned the first unit).
2. In 2007, the fourth and fifth issues were released, the word "Shippuuden" was added to the titles.
3. From 2008 to 2013, five more parts of "Naruto" were released, which had ordinal numbers from the first (conditionally, because the unit, as a rule, is not molded for the first issue) to the third, and mixed with them – various additions in the form of words, among which the only common was "Storm".
4. And so, in 2014, the "Revolution" was released.

It is worth noting that all the series preceding "Revolution" (except the last, "Full Burst") had localization only for consoles, and were ported for computers.

What is the difference between "Revolution" and the rest of the issues is better to show in figures and facts, and let the fans of the game compare themselves and draw conclusions:

1. More than a hundred playable characters are available in Revolution, among which the resurrected Raikage, Tsuchikage, Mizukage, Kazekage are especially interesting.

4. A new "Tournament" game mode has been added, involving a four-man competition, when everyone fights for himself.
