"Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2" is the sixth "Thirst for Speed" and the first released for the sixth generation of consoles (similar to "PS2"). This happened in 2002. But the computer versions did not lag behind. This arcade racing car simulator for PC was full-fledged, not ported.

Plot

The game plot, if I may say so in relation to this game, is not original. It largely repeats the earlier release. It's not for nothing that the developers duplicated the name of the 1998 version, adding only a deuce.

Some four years have passed, and the game has become graphically completely different. But the tracks very much resembled those in the original. Especially memorable was the road through the autumn garden, with fallen leaves covering the dirt and asphalt roadbed.

There is also a police presence here, trying to prevent the riders from reaching the finish line, or vice versa, recalcitrant riders who prevent the cops from living peacefully (if you play for the guardians of order).

Features

Despite the fact that "Hot Pursuit 2" is considered a remake, it has undergone many changes:

1. The tracks have many secret passages that significantly shorten the way to the finish line.
2. There are unpaved sections of the road and paved with boards.
3. The police are more decisive in their actions. If the cops called a helicopter, then it will fly not only for moral support to law enforcement officers. In the arsenal of the aircraft, to begin with, there are containers with water, which the pilots are happy to dump on the hood of the intruder. And they can shoot down particularly disobedient ones with a rocket.
4. There are five game modes: racing, championship, single, network, fast race.
5. 33 cars, of which twenty are licensed. You can run away from the police in 23 cars, and chase violators in ten.

And these are only superficial, v
