"Brink" is a first-person shooter with elements of a role-playing game. Both single-player and multiplayer modes are possible, including cooperative.

Plot

Humanity has created an experimental Ark island. It has been completely autonomous for forty years. But, despite its independence from the rest of the world, the island began to decline twenty years after its creation. One of the reasons for the crisis was the rise in the level of the world ocean, the mass resettlement of people to the Ark and the island's self-isolation from the outside world. The excessive number of residents stratified the population into different groups:

1. Slum dwellers slowly dying from malnutrition and disease.
2. Rebel units trying to seize power and try to find help outside of the Arch.
3. Security service.

To maintain order, the island was divided into parts. At the very beginning of the game, the player is given a choice, either to save the Ark, or to run from it. And in the course of the passage, you will repeatedly have the opportunity to change your political orientation, making completely different people your own.

Features

After the gamer decides whether to escape from the island or save the Ark, it will be necessary to create a character for himself by manipulating the editor. Almost everything in appearance can be adjusted. Of all the simulations, only the body structure has weight in the game. If you make a drysch, then he will be very agile, but weak, with a minimum amount of health and limited ability to carry weapons. But it will be harder to kill a pumped-up type, and he will be able to carry larger trunks, but the character will turn out to be clumsy. With a single passage, this does not matter, and fighting with a weakling against athletic and heavily armed characters controlled by other gamers is still a problem.
