"Halo Wars" is a real-time strategy game, where all events take place in the fictional "Halo" universe. It differs significantly from other "relatives" by genre, having learned from previous releases only the name, opposing races and troops and adding new types of equipment.

Plot

The events unfold a couple of decades before the part of the game "Combat Evolved". The central object of the plot is the spaceship "Spirit of Fire". He was sent to the former human planet Harvest for exploration. There, for the first time, there were clashes between humans and covenant aliens.

After learning about the aliens' plans to conduct mysterious excavations, the Earthlings try to prevent them. The missions transfer people from one planet to another, where in one of the worlds they stumbled upon a new intelligent race, the forerunners.

Features

The game features two opposing races with their own leaderboard:

1. People (captain, sergeant, professor).
2. Covenants (prophet, arbiter, leader).

The fundamental difference between the leaders is that human leaders are on the ship all the time (except for the campaign), and alien leaders are on the battlefield. The gamer chooses his own military commander, who has his own strengths.

Also , the troops have their own characteristics:

1. Covenants – use advanced technologies and have a numerical advantage.
2. The advantage of people is versatility.

When playing for one or another opponent, the gamer must take into account the advantages and disadvantages of each race and general limitations:

1. Bases are built only at certain points, with a limited number of cells for improvement.
2. The development of the human base depends on the number of reactors, and the coventants depend on a single temple.
