Heroes of Might & Magic III – HD Edition (2015) PC

Heroes of Might & Magic III HD is a reissue of the cult turn–based RPG, released back in 1999. The only difference from the original is the updated graphics, which are now represented by full HD textures.

The famous DotEmu studio worked on the creation of the remake. The reissue is designed specifically for the "oldfags" of the RPG world. The original Heroes of Might & Magic III is considered one of the most influential video games that set the tone for the development of the genre in the future.

Plot

The plot remained intact – the main character is still a certain Katrina Iron Fist. Katrina was previously a powerful queen who lost her throne due to betrayal.

The queen still has loyal warriors who are ready to follow her wherever she orders. The warrior is facing a rather difficult task – she needs to regain her kingdom by recapturing it from a tyrant who oppresses a previously free people.   

Gameplay

Heroes of Might & Magic III is a classic turn–based RPG with strategy elements, the gameplay of which is characterized by the following features:

• the main actions unfold on the strategic map, where the player explores the world, performs tasks, collects resources, whereas on the tactical map, all battles take place in turn-by-turn mode;
• In battle, it is possible to use both the strength of hired units and powerful combat and supporting magic.;
• the ability to pump your own character, equip him with artifacts, armor and weapons;
• building your own cities;
• the ability to fight with other real players.
