Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is the newest part of the legendary Wolfenstein series, adhering to the classic, already familiar concept of the struggle of the main character, B.J. Blaskowitz, with Nazi forces.

About the game

The Wolfenstein line can be confidently called one of the most successful in the history of the gaming industry. And indeed, each subsequent project, which tells about the confrontation between Captain Blaskowitz and the German troops, becomes more famous and popular than the previous ones. At the same time, developers manage to make the plot and gameplay as a whole diverse, so that new parts are no longer perceived as the same product, but in a different shell – and this is exactly what is the main problem of AAA game franchises in the modern gaming market.

In terms of gameplay, nothing has changed dramatically compared to the last part, except that the weapons were changed and new types of opponents appeared. The essence remained the same: the systematic destruction of the Nazis in many ways interspersed with colorful cinematic inserts.

The plot begins with B.J. recovering in a hospital room. After the events of the previous part, the captain was severely injured, as a result of which he can only move using a wheelchair. Agree, not the best situation, especially considering the main goal of the protagonist – the liberation of his country? However, even this will not be an obstacle to the restoration of justice.

Features of the game:

1. A plot that includes many unexpected plot twists, and which will make you empathize with each of the characters present on the screen.
2. The graphics are made at the highest level. Plot inserts can sometimes even be confused with a fragment of some high-budget movie.
3. The absence of censorship, which has become habitual lately. The Nazis have images of swastikas with them, the main character commits brutal murders, along the way, without hesitating in expressions – in general, something happens on the screen that is usually carefully cut out by censorship.
