Blackguards is the second part of the game of the same name, released 4 years ago. The plot of the game has undergone some significant changes. A new character enters – the blue-blooded heroine Kasia.  During the long years spent in prison, the girl gradually changed: the bites of poisonous creatures disfigured her face; being in a confined space affected the state of mind. Having used the only chance, the heroine escapes and goes to collect her own army to take revenge on her husband and take his place in power.

Gameplay Features

The main distinguishing feature of the second part, on which the developers focused the most, was the change in the genre. Now Blackguards 2 is more like a turn-based strategy, not a role-playing game. The main goal, which is the conquest of territory and upgrades of the army and heroes.

Major changes:

1. The dialog lines have changed: the amount of communication between the characters has decreased.
2. The player got the right to make decisions on his own more often. For example, you can order your soldiers to plunder the city or stop looting. That is why it is worth thinking about when making decisions, because what consequences will come is unknown.
3. The tactics and scale of Blackguards have undergone a transformation. The battles have become more impressive and vivid.
4. Combat collisions have become more difficult and better. For example, the number of traps on the field of play has increased.
5. New interesting characters have appeared. One of them was the monsters of Marwan, which have incredible sizes and many abilities.

Despite all the changes that the game has suffered, it has certain pros and cons. The former include a darker storyline and strategic gameplay.
