Castlevania - Lords of Shadow 2 is a computer video game in the genre of action adventure, which was created by a Spanish developer studio called MercurySteam.

Plot

The main character is still the "young" heir of the ancient Belmont family. Satan, after many years of sleep, awakens, and the Belmont clan was one of those who drove the Devil to sleep.

Now Satan will take revenge on his enemies and only Gabriel, who is called Dracula, is able to stop one of the most powerful creatures in the world. The devil must be defeated once and for all, otherwise not only the Belmonts will suffer, but also all living beings on the planet.

The game does not provide additional tasks – you can only complete story quests, which does not allow you to enjoy the open world as much as possible.

Gameplay

The developers made a big step in changing the game engine, which helped eliminate all the problems of the first part. The following features are characteristic of the gameplay:

• an open game world, which the first part could not boast of;
• a unique weapon with its own purpose and animation of strikes, including Chaos Bones, Blood Whip and Void Sword;
• an advanced combat system that combines the use of combos, abilities and evasions;
• colorful finishing off enemies;
• the ability to fight while in flight;
• the presence of colorful caste scenes.

Graphics

Big changes have affected the graphics and the surrounding world. Firstly, it has ceased to be linear and corridor, and secondly, its level of detail has increased significantly. Since the actions were transferred to the XXI century, the design of the locations was radically changed, which is why the second part bears little resemblance to the original.
