Stronghold - Anthology (2005-2014) PC | RePack by R.G. Mechanics

The anthology is an assembly of RTS games of the Stronghold series from Firefly Studios, including both relatively modern games and HD reissues, albeit outdated, but which at one time made a real splash among games of this genre.

Stronghold

The first part is the HD version for widescreen monitors of the game about the four counts who killed the rightful king, and about the king's son who wants revenge. To say that the game was a real masterpiece is to say nothing. Great jokes, the atmosphere of the Middle Ages, and a lot of memes used on the Internet to this day ("food supplies are waning, my Lord"). A wonderful soundtrack, juicy graphics (for 2001) and unique parameters that were not implemented earlier in any game. The plot (history, terrain, characters), by the way, is based on real events and real historical figures.

Stronghold Crusader

It is in fact a great addition to the first one (also an HD reissue). A new story, new units (climbing walls, for example) and a new atmosphere.

Stronghold 2

Developed on a new engine, the plot of which unfolds after the events of the first part. New resources and new units are attached.

Stronghold Legends

A fantasy innovation from the developers provides an opportunity to play for one of the three generals:

• King Arthur, England (with the Knights of the Round Table, Sir Lancelot and the sword Excalibur);
• Count Dracula, Transylvania;
• Siegfried, the hero of the "Song of the Nibelungs", Germany.

Despite the shifted emphasis towards fantasy and magic in general, it did not affect the sales rating in any way.

Stronghold 3

The good old "Citadel", only with a new engine, the possibility of night sieges, the fog of war and many other innovations.

Stronghold Crusader 2

A game based already on a 3D engine, and returning the player to the atmosphere of the "Citadel" with the already familiar conflict. In addition to the traditional introduction of new types of units and other things, a cooperative mode has been added, where two players can play for one side, rebuild a castle together, hire an army, collect resources and improve macro and micro control in every possible way,
