Mass Effect 2 is a computer video game in the genre of action and RPG, which was created by the famous Canadian company BioWare and is the second game of the same series.

Plot

Events take us to the XXII century. Humanity was able to explore space and now, with the help of modern ships, travels between systems and galaxies.

The main character is the hero of the Alliance of Intelligent Races – Captain Shepard. He has one of the most modern ships under his control – the Normandy. After the victory in the first part over one of the ships of the Reapers – creatures that destroy all life in space every 50 thousand times, people began to wait for a full-scale invasion of this race.

One day an unknown ship attacks the Normandy and many die, including Shepard. However, the powerful SPECTRUM Corporation resurrects the hero and gives him a new, improved version of Normandy to manage. Shepard is assigned to investigate the disappearance of thousands of people across the galaxy.

Gameplay

In battle, the player can control one of three characters, including Shepard. The other two members of the team are satellites that can be selected before a combat operation.

Distinctive features of Mass Effect 2 should be considered:

• the ability to choose a character class, which determines his fighting style and set of abilities;
• Shepard will have to develop relationships with his team members – the better they are, the better they will fight and the greater the chance of their survival;
• the fate of not only several characters, but also entire colonies depends on the player's actions;
• the player chooses what the main character will say, and therefore he directly proportionally affects the development of the plot.

Graphics
