Quantum Break is a cinematic shooter from a small Finnish studio Remedy Entertainment. The distinctive features of the game are unusual mechanics, consisting in the ability to manipulate time, and high quality graphics, reminiscent of an expensive action movie.

Plot

In one of the fictional American universities, a group of scientists made an incredible breakthrough in science: they managed to build a time machine that was a dream for many science fiction writers. By launching the device, the main characters caused an anomaly, as a result of which time and space were distorted, and those present received unique abilities.

Jack is the protagonist who knows how to stop time. He is opposed by Paul, a scientist who is able to look into the future. They used to be friends, but after the disaster, their paths diverged – the first wanted to correct the consequences, while the goal of the second was to maintain the current situation. A real war has begun between them, which will decide the fate of the whole world.

Gameplay

Thanks to the sharp plot and a number of unique gameplay features, Quantum Break has become one of the best console games of 2016. She won the fans' love, first of all, for the following advantages:

• advanced combat system that allows you to combine hand-to-hand combat, firearms and incredible abilities of the main character;
• the ability to climb various buildings;
• several unique abilities that can be improved as the game progresses;
• the choice between hidden and aggressive passing;
• the narrative resembles an action-packed fantasy blockbuster.

Graphics

In terms of visual range, Quantum Break can be called one of the most beautiful video games in history. The developers paid special attention to the drawing of characters whose roles were played by actors with world-famous names.
