The events of ZERO Sievert are set in post-apocalyptic Russia, which, like all other countries, was almost completely devastated after a large-scale nuclear war.

In an alternate reality, a conflict has broken out between the world's leading nations, leading to the massive use of nuclear weapons. As a result, most of the planet's population died, and only those who managed to hide in bunkers beforehand managed to survive.

Several years have passed since the nuclear attack, and people gradually began to make their way to the surface. The main character is one of these survivors, who have to adapt to life in an entirely new cruel world. To do so, he will need to roam the vast locations in search of resources and ammo, as well as avoid meetings with bandits and mutants without proper training.

Gameplay

Among the key gameplay features of ZERO Sievert Survival Simulator are worth mentioning:

1. All locations are procedurally generated, and therefore the universe will prove to be endless and always prepare unexpected surprises. 
2. On the map you will have to spend a lot of time looking for useful supplies, including food, medicine, weapons, equipment, ammunition and more.
3. The player must meet the biological needs of his character. 
4. Weapons can be modified with additional parts, like sights and reinforced grips. 
5. The enemies are bandits, soldiers, wild animals and mutants - the latter are the most dangerous.
