Farpoint

Farpoint is a sci–fi first-person shooter set in a distant alternate future. The events revolve around space travel and the failure of an expedition to explore a new unknown planet.

Review

People in the course of research discovered an interesting planet with signs of life and sent an expedition to it. However, it suffered a fiasco – the ship was never able to land, and crashed shortly after it entered the atmosphere.

Then a second expedition was equipped to the planet, and the main character becomes a participant in it. Shortly after landing, he and his team study the wreckage of the ship, after which the group is attacked by alien creatures that resemble huge aggressive insects. The mission of the expedition is changing – their goal is to hold until the arrival of the rescue ship.

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of the sci-fi shooter Farpoint, it is important to highlight:

1. The project was developed specifically for virtual reality glasses and thanks to the introduction of this mechanics, gamers can plunge as deeply as possible into the virtual universe.
2. The ability to use a variety of futuristic weapons, including assault and sniper rifles.
3. Dangerous opponents represented by large insects that can withstand a lot of damage.
4. A large virtual world, represented by the surface of a hostile planet, on which you can move freely.
