King’s Bounty. The Legend of the Knight

King’s Bounty. The Legend of the Knight is a turn–based strategy video game with RPG elements set in a fantasy universe called Endoria. The gamer plays the role of one of the greatest royal knights, who fulfills the requests of the ruler, protecting the kingdom.

Plot

The main character at the beginning of the campaign is presented as a young warrior who successfully passes the exams and becomes an anointed knight. After that, he begins to perform numerous tasks from the king and his entourage, gradually earning a reputation.

He travels through various worlds and kingdoms, exterminates slavery, fights pirates and helps the innocent. However, once returning from another adventure, the protagonist learns that the royal daughter– Princess Amelie, has been abducted by unknown people. She is the sole heir to the throne, and therefore her return is placed on the shoulders of the main character. He gathers a squad and sets off on a journey, in the middle of which he learns that ancient forces are behind her abduction – powerful demons, undead and dragons, who have persuaded the elves to their side.

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of the turn-based strategy King's Bounty. The legend of the knight needs to be noted:

1. During the battle, the gamer as a commander can conjure various spells – with the help of them, you can damage the enemy, strengthen the strength of allied troops, restore health and undermine the combat effectiveness of the opponent.
2. The hero owns a certain artifact – a box of Rage, which contains four powerful spirits that identify the forces of nature. They can also be pumped like the protagonist and use their perks in battle.
3. Before the start of the campaign, the user can choose a character class – warrior, paladin and mage are available.
4. Actions on the strategic and tactical battle map take place in a step-by-step mode, and in each gamer is obliged to think through actions in advance.
