Gothic 2 Odyssey

Gothic 2 Odyssey is an unofficial add–on created by fans for a popular computer video game in the RPG genre with an open virtual world. The plot of the mod unfolds after the finale of the second part and is a prequel to the third Gothic.

A studio called Piranha Bytes worked on the creation of the original video game.

Plot

In the center of the plot is a young guy named Roland, who unwillingly finds himself involved in a bloody war between humans and orcs. There are fewer and fewer inhabitants on the island of Anatos – the war destroys everything in its path. Roland is forced to become a real paladin.

Not so long ago, he was an ordinary squire who did not aspire to the battlefield, but fate allowed him to become a member of the crew of the royal ship, after which a thirst for battle awoke in him.

Gameplay

Gothic 2 Odyssey significantly changes the original game due to the following modifications:

• a completely new storyline with original characters and several hundred quests;
• expanded bestiary of monsters – their number has grown significantly;
• a huge number of new items, spells and ammunition;
• the balance has been redone – this applies not only to opponents, but also to many items;
• new guilds that you can join during the passage;
• new textures of the environm
