Gears 5

Gears 5 is a computer video game in the genre of a third–person shooter with elements of an open world, the events of which unfold in a fantastic universe of the distant future. The fifth part continues to develop the plot of the previous game, telling about the fate of characters already familiar to the line.

A well-known team called The Coalition worked on the creation of the video game.

Plot

As before, the events unfold in the distant future, and tells of intergalactic wars between humans and other extraterrestrial races, as well as a civil war within human civilization.

The main characters of the fifth part are the well-known Kate Diaz, DJ Phoenix and the protagonist of the first two parts – Marcus Phoenix.

Gameplay

Among the key gameplay features of the shooter , it is necessary to highlight:

• semi-open virtual world;
• the presence of two modes, except for the plot – "Horde" (characters need to display numerous enemy attacks) and "Escape" (in addition to battles, it is necessary to escape from a poisonous cloud that kills all living things upon contact);
• the presence of mechanics of shooting from behind shelters;
• numerous types of futuristic weapons, including explosives;
• the ability to upgrade the skills and abilities of heroes;
