Plot

Ezio Auditore becomes the head of the brotherhood of assassins, but considering that the Templars have lost, decides to retire from the war for a while and relax in his own villa.

However, suddenly the villa is attacked by the troops of Cesare Bordiga, the son of Pope Rodrigo Borgia, who represent the Templars in Italy. Ezio and his loved ones are forced to flee from the overwhelming forces of the enemy.

Then the head of the brotherhood decides to go to Rome to once again fight the Templars and eradicate them from Italy once and for all. However, acting alone will no longer work, because Rome is completely controlled by the enemy. In order to have a chance of winning, Ezio begins to revive the brotherhood and gathers recruits, turning them into an army of elite assassins.

Gameplay

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood gameplay almost completely repeats the gameplay of the previous part, but it was not without innovations, including:

• the combat system no longer welcomes defense – aggressive actions are preferred, since counterattacks are no longer a panacea in battles with opponents;
• the enemies have become much more aggressive and attack not alone, but together;
• it is now possible to travel by horse within the city limits;
• it became possible to use stationary guns;
• multiplayer mode added for the first time;
• the player has new functions for managing the brothe
