Realpolitiks is a real–time strategy game in which you play the role of the leader of one of the countries of the XXI century and do everything possible to make citizens flourish. The game was developed by the Polish studio Jujubee, consisting of former members of such teams as CD Projekt RED, Traveller's Tales and Infinite Dreams.

Gameplay

The name of the game comes from the German term "Realpolitik", which literally means "real politics", which is primarily subordinated to the interests of the nation and rejects all moral or ethical aspects. Realpolitiks resembles the popular Europa Universalis series, although unlike it, the events of the game take place in our time and take into account the current features of politics and reality of the beginning of the XXI century.

You become the leader of a chosen nation and participate in world politics and international affairs, you try to provide the best living conditions for your fellow citizens. The gameplay focuses mainly on the governance of the country in all key areas and requires the adoption of many strategic and political decisions that have huge consequences. You have to take care of things like domestic politics, diplomacy, economics, armed conflicts or espionage. You also have to react to important historical events taking place in the world and fictional random events faced by modern world leaders.
