Dragon Age: The Beginning – Awakening (2009) PC

Dragon Age: The Beginning – Awakening is a big official addition to the first part of the Dragon Age series, which will finally resolve the issue with the creatures of darkness in Ferelden.

An unchanged Canadian studio called BioWare worked on the creation of the DLC.

Plot

After the main character, along with Alistair and others, defeated the Pestilence, peace came for a few months. The guards were given a fortress for the revival of the order – the Vigil Tower.

You go to your new fortress, but you find the creatures of darkness attacking it. Having fought off the siege, you have to find out where these monsters crawled out from and what powerful creature is behind these attacks, because without a leader they do not get out of the ground.

In general, the DLC gives fans another order of 12 hours of exciting pastime.

Gameplay

As for the changes in the gameplay, nothing serious happened here – something was added that the fans really lacked in the first original part. Among such innovations , the following can be noted:

• added several new specializations, as well as dozens of skills;
• it is now possible to create weapons and armor;
• now the player must take care of his own lands, solve important issues and protect them from attacks;
• the need to upgrade the fortress of the Guardians – the final of the supplement depends on it.

Otherwise, before us is the good old Dragon Age: The Beginning. During the passage, you will meet the characters from the first part and will be able to recruit them into the team again. You will also meet new heroes, one of whom will change the fate of the whole world, but already in subsequent projects of the series.

The add-on was developed on the same graphics engine, and therefore there were no changes in the picture. Combat mechanics also remained the same – except
