Knights of the Temple is a computer video game in the genre of action with a third–person view, which tells about the era of the Templar Order, who swore to protect all Catholics in the Holy Land and beyond.

A well-known Swedish studio called Starbreeze Studios worked on the development of the game.

Plot

The main character is a young knight named Paul, who was recently accepted into the ranks of the Templar Order. One day a girl Adele is born, who receives a unique divine gift.

The bishop decides to own this gift and takes the girl prisoner. He longs to use her abilities to achieve his greedy goals. Paul must do everything possible to free Adele and destroy the evil bishop.

Gameplay

Knights of the Temple takes place in closed corridor locations, which are represented by cities in the Holy Land. On the way of the knight, enemies of different caliber will constantly meet, as well as traps – having overcome all these difficulties, the hero will be able to save an innocent girl. The gameplay of the video game is characterized by the following features:

• in battle, you can use weapons such as a battle axe, a mace, a one-and-a-half sword and a bow;
• the weapon undergoes modification, with which you are able to improve its characteristics;
• you can also hit enemies using special combat skills and divine abilities;
• all opponents differ in their strength – you will meet from ordinary soldiers, to monsters and powerful bosses.
