Ghostbusters (2016) PC

The game is based on the movie "Ghostbusters", much loved by many in the eighties. Considering that four actors who played the main characters of the mentioned films worked on the game project, it can even be called the third film. Methods of catching paranormal creatures and branded humor have not gone away.

Clean up New York from evil spirits

According to the idea of the screenwriters, the events of the game take place shortly after the completion of the plot of the second film – in 1991, just on Thanksgiving Day. Ghosts of all stripes and climb from all the cracks – hunters have more than enough work. Maybe that's why another employee was added to the team of four people we know from the film. The gamer will have to play as a beginner who should become a full-fledged hunter of evil spirits.

The locations of the game repeat the places from the movie: a museum, a library, a hotel, the headquarters of the heroes. The ghosts also remained the same: the lizun, the spirit of the fisherman, the marshmallow man and others. During gameplay, the player will meet a lot of references to the films "Ghostbusters".

How to roast spirits properly

Catching raging spirits is not an easy task, it requires special equipment. Ghostbusters is not a "purebred" shooter, rather an action–adventure game: there are no typical firearms here. The guy we're going to play for uses experimental weapons – new proton packs that weren't in the movie.

1. By shooting a proton beam from the first satchel, the ghost can be slowed down and turned into stone or frozen.
2. With the help of the second satchel, the hero dissolves the mucus secreted by some spirits and expels ghosts from people's bodies.
3. The third device shoots proton particles like an automaton.

Pumping

Grateful citizens pay money for the destruction of evil spirits, and finances are used to improve equipment. For example, you can buy a fast–opening trap or cooling for a proton backpack - nothing unusual. In addition to incentives, there is also a system of fines for material damage caused in the process
