Stronghold Crusader 2 is a computer video game in the genre of real–time strategy, which is characterized by a high degree of historical authenticity. A well-known studio called FireFly Studios worked on the creation of the game.

Plot

The actions of the second part of Stronghold Crusader unfold during the Crusades. It was the era of one of the greatest confrontations in history. The Christian world faced Islam, which zealously decided to defend the Holy Land.

You will have to become part of this bloody conflict, during which it will be determined who will own Jerusalem and all the surrounding territories.

But to do this, you should choose a side – become part of the holy army of Europe or the jihad that has sworn to expel Christians.  

Gameplay

Stronghold Crusader 2 largely repeats the gameplay of real-time strategic video games of the old school, which combine elements of tactical battles and an urban planning simulator. It is characterized by the following features:

• the possibility of building your own castle and city;
• creating a powerful army;
• realistic battles that allow thousands of fighters to come together on the battlefield and under the castle walls;
• the presence of a multiplayer mode that significantly diversifies the single-player campaign;
• dozens of unique units and buildings;
• ample opportunities to manage your faction, its economic well-being and affairs in the political arena.
