Blackguards 2 is a computer video game in the genre of turn–based strategy. There are also elements of such a popular genre as RPG. The second part of the line of the same name continues the history of the previous part. The same studio called Daedalic Entertainment worked on the creation of this game.

Plot

The action takes place in the same fantasy fictional world called Aventuria. This time, the main character is a devoted heir to the throne named Cassia. She is driven by the desire to seize the throne and no matter how long it will be in her power – at least for one day.

It is not so easy to realize your dream – now the main character is in prison. Her cell is guarded by dozens of soldiers and it's impossible to just take it and get out. In addition, the throne is already occupied by a powerful king, who is not used to giving away power just like that.

However, Cassia is not going to live the rest of her days behind bars and escapes from custody. Now she has to find like–minded people - a strong army that will be ready to go straight to the enemy's lair and win.

Gameplay

Here is a classic turn-based strategy with the following gameplay features:

• a non-linear narrative that will take about twenty hours;
• the ability to recruit characters and fighters into your army;
• killing enemies and completing tasks opens access to a new level, which allows you to improve the characteristics and abilities of the heroine;
• the ability to interact with the outside world during combat – with your spells, you can easily bring down walls on enemies, etc.

Graphics
