Despite the fact that the developers of this project, Tarsier Studios, had not previously created any well-known games, in 2017 the situation managed to change radically: the game, called Little Nightmares, managed to collect a lot of positive reviews from both critics and the players themselves – and this is taking into account the fact that the storyline, the gameplay and overall atmosphere are significantly different from other similar products available on the market.

The project tells us the story of a nine-year-old girl named Sixth, who got into the Womb, which is nothing more than a mysterious ship that appears from under the water in a variety of places from year to year, with many grotesque creatures on board. The game does not explain almost anything – neither who the main character is, nor how she managed to get to such a strange place. It is only known that the passage begins at the lowest level of the ship, and the goal is salvation, for which it is necessary to make a whole journey through a maze of floors. If we take into account the fact that each of them is filled with a strange crew, and there is only one lighter at the disposal, then the game becomes able to interest even the most hardened critic.
