Mordheim: City of the Damned is a computer video game in the RPG and strategy genre, which was created by a little–known studio called Rogue Factor.

It is noteworthy that the game is based on the board game of the same name, which takes place in the fantasy universe of Warhammer.

Plot

The main events take place in one of the kingdoms of the above-named universe. Not so long ago, a comet fell on the city of Mordheim. There were unique resources on it that caused the war and now the most powerful factions are fighting for the Cursed City.

At the beginning of the game, you have to choose which side to go for: Imperial mercenaries, Sigmar's Sisters, Possessed or Skaven. Each side has unique units and goals.

Gameplay

The main focus of the developers was on creating a boiled gameplay and a powerful RPG and strategic component. Therefore, the gameplay is distinguished by the following features:

• you will always have to think carefully about each of your actions, because a wrong decision can turn out to be sad – you will lose important key characters who cannot be resurrected after;
• the game world is a very treacherous place, opponents can attack completely by accident and traps are waiting for almost every step, and therefore it is worth traveling very carefully;
• the ability to collect various weapons, artifacts and armor and equip yourself and your army with them;
• detailed setup of each squad;
• all units can interact with each other, which gives you access to create unique tactics.

Graphics
